Timber Wolf* band saw blades manufactured by Suffolk Machinery Corp, has through the use of premium Swedish steels, proprietary induction hardening methods and exclusive tooth milling processes created some of the finest woodworking band saw blades in the world. Milling the teeth of the blade into a piece of strip steel produces a finished, razor sharp edge without ever having to stamp or grind the teeth. Induction hardening allows for different but more precise hardness throughout the blade. These unique manufacturing techniques along with the use of Swedish Silicon steel set these blades apart from all other carbon based blades. Each blade represents a perfect balance of superior steel, blade width and thickness plus precision set teeth produce a superior cutting blade with exceptional overall life. If a blade has ""Bi-Metal"" at the end of the description it is designed for the most difficult wood cutting applications. The hardness of the teeth is twice that of a standard blade. The 1 inch wide by .035 thick by 1 inch tooth blade is ideal for recycling timbers and cutting logs on 18 inch and larger vertical band saws. The 3/4 inch wide x .035 thick by 2/3 variable tooth blade is ideal for recycling timbers and resawing exotic wood on 18 inch and larger vertical band saws. All blades are custom welded and be made to any length. If your blade length falls between the blades listed, use the higher price. For example, if your blade is 93 1/2 inches, use the 96 inch blade price. Legend (in inches unless otherwise noted): W = Width L = Length TPI = Teeth per Inch TS = Tooth Style
