The RELD tester is used to detect damage to the head and head gasket of fluid-cooled combustion engines (petrol, diesel, LPG). The tester has the same operating principle and the same effectiveness as expensive testers and its price is affordable due to the innovative production method.
In the event of a damaged seal under the head or the head itself, part of the exhaust gas contains, among other things, CO2 enters the cooling system. The operating principle of the device is based on the measurement of the CO2 concentration. With increased concentration, the reaction fluid reacts with CO2 and changes its colour.
The whole process takes no more than 5 minutes and gives you almost 100% peace of mind whether the cylinder head seal is not broken.

You only need 2ml of reaction fluid to perform a test. Thanks to this, the set can be used up to 50 times.
We attach a universal adapter to our RELD tester which has a wide measuring range (25-55 mm). This allows you to check cars, trucks, tractor machines, excavators, motorcycles, forklifts.
The RELD reaction fluid is blue.
If after completing all the steps described in the instructions for use, the liquid has not changed its colour and is still blue, this means that your seal under the head and head is in perfect condition.
The RELD reaction fluid is yellow or green.
If the liquid has changed its colour from blue to yellow or green after all steps in the instruction manual, this means that the seal under the head or head is damaged.
