The TDA 2050 is intended to be used as an audio Class AB audio amplifier. Due to its high power capability, the TDA2050 is capable of delivering up to 35W rms into 4 ohm loads at THD = 10%, VS = 18V, f = 1KHz, and up to 32W into 8 ohm loads at THD = 10%, VS = 22V, f = 1KHz.
In addition, at VS=22.5V, f = 1KHz, the TDA 2050 can typically deliver 50W of music power into a 4 ohm load in 1 second.
