A cleaning card is inserted into the printer's card path and travels along the cleaning rollers to ensure they are clean for removing debris from a blank card prior to printing. A cleaning pen will gently, but thoroughly clean the printhead to ensure debris does not build up on the printhead and damage it. Regular printer cleanings will ensure full printer functionality.
