VL53L0X time-of-flight ranging sensor is a new generation of laser ranging module, VL53L0X is a fully integrated sensor, equipped with embedded infrared, eye safety laser, advanced filters and high-speed photon detection array, measurement distance is longer, speed and accuracy higher.

Parameter:
1. ToF ranging length: ≤2M
2. Accuracy: up to ±3% (affected by environmental conditions and target characteristics)
3. Ranging time: ≤30ms
4. Power consumption: 20mW
5. Standby power consumption: 5μA

Note:
1. The VL53L0X is a great IC, but its small, LGA package makes it difficult for the typical student or hobbyist to use.
2. VL53L0X is operates at a recommended voltage of 2.8 V, which can make interfacing difficult for microcontrollers operating at 3.3 V or 5 V. Our breakout board addresses these issues, making it easier to get started using the sensor, while keeping the overall size as small as possible.
