The CHEETAH is basically what the clearly poly carbonate tips wanted to be performance wise. High heat resistance means it will not shed on the cloth from friction and it will not transition to a brittle shape and crack from repeated impact. The Cheetah is slightly softer than our Hammerhead V2 but it is lower maintenance and requires only occasional scuffing. They cut and shape easily on a lathe.
