I've been thinking about designing a fall collection for a little while and I wanted to create a group of prints with colors that could transport you to the perfect autumn afternoon any time of year! For me, a perfect autumn afternoon is a walk out in the sunshine under some beautiful oak trees and spending some time in my garden with my favorite fall flowers. Zinnias are my absolute favorite as they bloom forever and come in many pretty colors that go so well with my style of quilts. So, I've included several prints with zinnias, along with black-eyed susans, daisies and mums. Combine those flowers with a few oak leaves, acorn, and pumpkins, along with some sun washed colors and it captures the look of fall that I love so much. I hope this collection transports you to the perfect autumn afternoon too!
