For GDEMU is an alternative to the memory card-based optical drive in the for Dreamcast console. For GD-ROM / for CD-ROM drives will inevitably wear out and fail (just like all mechanical equipment), and since consoles are no longer manufactured, it is almost impossible to provide spare parts.
