From the broken antique glass and bottles taken from the wooded habitats and rural farmlands in an effort to remove this hazard from the environment and wildlife! Old glass and bottle dumps found so commonly in the rural Pennsylvania serve as the source of glass for these beautiful filigree teardrops! Broken remains of 1940's red beer bottles are gathered, ground and fired then mounted in the stunning sterling silver filigree setting, and hang from pretty sterling ear wires. Teardrops measure approx. 3/4" in length and 1/2" inch in width at the widest point. With the ear wire, approx. total hang length is 2". Each piece of Bottled Up Designs includes "The Story of the Glass" detailing the history and age of the glass used.
