Description

High pressure valves are applied to set the pressure in a circuit part to counterbalance external force or a weight. The working pressure is commonly high in order to keep the load from free-falling. Needle valves controls fluid movement accurately, hence the name flow control valve. When the handle is turned on and the stem is being rotated, the needle rises up from the seat and fluid flows through. This allows maximum accuracy as the tiniest change of the needle will affect the fluid movement. The design of the seat and needle helps to avoid any gap for the fluid movement when the needle is put into place. By default, needle valves have a working pressure ranging from 5000 to 10000 PSI. As the temperature changes, so does the working pressure. If the needle valve is used in a high temperature setting, then it will have a lower working pressure. Our needle valve is made of stainless steel 316.
