The company has further expanded its motion sensor and introduced LIS3DH, a very low power, digital output 3-axis accelerometer that reduces over 90% of the power consumption of existing solutions while reducing package footprint Enhance the chip function.
Currently consuming a minimum of 2μA, this 3x3x1 mm accelerometer is ideal for motion sensing, space and power, such as cell phones, remote controls and game consoles.
Within ± 2 g / ± 4 g / ± 8 g / ± 16 g, the LIS3DH provides very accurate measurement data output and maintains excellent stability at rated temperatures and long hours of operation.
The LIS3DH accelerometer module has a built-in temperature sensor and three analog-to-digital converters that simply integrate the gyroscope and other companion chips. LIS3DH also offers a variety of features, including mouse click / double click recognition, 4D / 6D direction detection and power-saving wake-up mode. In sleep mode, the detection link remains active, and when an event occurs, the sensor wakes up from sleep mode and automatically raises the output data rate.
Other important features include a programmable FIFO (first-in, first-out) memory module and two programmable interrupt signal output pins that instantly notify the host processor of other conditions such as motion detection, click / double click events.
The LIS3DH software and pins are compatible with the LIS331 accelerometer family, allowing users to directly replace parts and easily upgrade to protect application development investments.
