1.Normaly single phase motor has 2 capacitors, one is start capacitor, use only start, another is run capacitor, using all the time when motor runs
2.As 220v or 230v single phase motor, run capacitor can be estimated Approximately as C = 0.03* Power(watts) uF
3.As 110v or 125v single phase motor, run capacitor can be estimated Approximately as C = 0.1* Power(watts) uF
4.As start capacitor estimated Approximately, C(start) = (1 - 4)*C(run)
5.Best methods is that just replace with the same size of the origial
