Special Features

  • Forged for added strength and durability. Forged brass is stronger and more expensive than cast brass.
  • For your health and safety, this fitting is made of lead-free brass which contains less than 0.25% lead. The ball inside the valve is made of chrome plated lead-free brass. Seal materials are PTFE plastic and NBR rubber.
  • 1/4" Male NPT (MNPT) X 1/4" Female NPT (FNPT) connections. High-capacity full-port design reduces pressure drop. Quarter-turn operation with a long handle makes this ball shut-off valve very easy to operate. Locknut resists loosening under vibration.
  • Suitable for compressed air, water, and oil. Able to control flow in either direction. Pressure rating: 200 psi.
  • Note that the outer diameter of a 1/4" male NPT fitting is actually 0.54 inch. So, its outer diameter is about 0.29 inch larger than its “name.” NPT fittings are slightly tapered so the 0.54 inch diameter is the diameter in the middle of the threaded portion. PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE OF YOUR CONNECTION BEFORE PURCHASING.
