Descriptions:Tap and die set are suitable for making or repairing male and female threads. They are both left hand thread, durable, and with clear threads, good for general purpose applications.
Straight flute design, downward chip removal. Process through holes in maintenance and repair work. For tapping aluminum, die steel, stainless steel, bronze, hard plastics etc.. Use with tapping oil to get higher quality threads and more durable taps. Machine taps are used on drill presses, tapping machines, CNC and milling machines.
The round die features good abrasion resistance. Features just the base substrate without any coatings. Suitable lubricating oil should be added to the cutting edge. Used with die wrench (not included). The fastening screws in the middle of the wrench should be inserted into the slot of the die and tightened.
