HOW TO USE POULTRY SHRINK BAGS? 1) In a large pot, bring water to 180°F - 190°F (85°C). 2) After dressing your bird, make sure you drain it as well as possible. 3) Place bird, head first into the bag. 4) Push the air out. 5) Twist the open end shut (make a pigtail) and secure with a zip tie or clamp. 5A) This step is optional: Pierce a small pin hole in the Shrink Bag (top of the breast for poultry) 6) Then, dip the bag into the clean 180°F - 190°F (85°C) water for 2 to 3 seconds. 7) Dry with a cloth. 8) Place a product label if desired.
