Since they are made of high grade 304 stainless steel they inherently structurally strong allowing for thinner wall material over plastic fittings. This helps to increase overall inside diameter of the fittings for maximum flow. Additionally they take excel over brass fittings when it comes corrosion resistance. While brass fittings may cost less overall. Who really wants reduced water pressure from corrosion, or in the worst case scenarios to be forced to replace plumbing fittings due to failure?
