As the pins are pushed into the wood the on-off button is automatically depressed and turns the meter on. Instantly the moisture percentage is displayed. No need to depress an on-off button. The unique, bright LED display is shock-proof and can be read even in poorly lit areas. A useful strap keeps meter handy and eliminates need to put meter down while doing other tasks.
