Kit contains one 5 Micron Sediment Pre-Filter (104017), two 5 Micron Carbon Pre-Filters (101009) made of high quality activated carbon, one 10 inch Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Final Filter (560010) with fittings, and one Housing Wrench (164002)
The Sediment Pre-Filter reduces dirt, silt, and rust.
The Carbon Pre-Filter reduces chlorine taste and odors and conditions the water.
GAC Final Filter removes any remaining chlorine or chemicals that cause bad taste or odor.
Recommended replacement of both the Sediment and Carbon Pre-filters every 6 months, and your GAC Final Filter should be replaced annually.
