After install the mixer attachment if the mixer beater hits the bottom or side of the bowl, it needs to adjust. Here is the ways: Turn speed control to OFF. Disconnect power of the stand mixer. Lift the mixer motor head. If the beater hits the bowl bottom try to raise it by Turn screw SLIGHTLY counter clockwise (left). If the beater is too far away then screw SLIGHTLY clockwise (right) to lower the flat beater.
