Special details:

This door seal W10300924 is for dishwashers.

Warm the seal by soaking in hot tap water or with a hair dryer on low heat to help the seal stretch more easily.

Door seal W11177741 seals the gap between the opening to the dishwasher tub and the outer edge of the door.

Install Tips:

Make sure you check the orientation of the existing gasket as you remove it from the groove in the dishwasher, to make sure you insert the correct end of the replacement gasket, and start at the top middle of the dishwasher and work your way around the top and down the sides from there.

If you replace the gasket the wrong way it will prevent the dishwasher door from closing properly or it will leak. If that happens just remove the gasket and reverse the gasket.

Be sure that the gasket is fully seated in the corners. Check for this if the door will not close completely.

Can pressed the gasket into the "slot" with fingers, but in some places it was a bit hard to get in so you can use a small wood handle, the rounded part from a small wood tool to press the gasket in better. That really was helpful for the bends in the upper right and upper left side.

After installing the door seal, shut the dishwasher door and leave the door closed for several hours to properly seat the new door seal.
