Finely ground turquoise stone for inlay in jewelry and woodwork. Product is shipped in small tin container. Total 1 ounce (28 grams) of stone. Use to inlay in wood projects in 5 easy steps: 1. Use a chisel, knife, or dremel tool to widen any hairline cracks. This is because even a finely powdered stone may not be able to fill the smallest of voids. Widen them to make the process easier. 2. Apply stone into the void. Work the stone into the area and tap the piece of wood so that the stone settles into place 3. Apply cyanoacrylate (CA glue) over the area. Let it dry completely. 4. Sand the inlay area smooth with coarse 80 or 100 grit sand paper. Sometimes the rough-sanding process reveals new voids or air pockets. Repeat steps 1 through 6 as needed. 5. When the area is smooth and free of voids, final sand and finish the wood product as usual.
