Material - The hole saw body is made of superior grade M42 high-speed steel, which has excellent hardness, wear resistance, and heat resistance. The cutting edges or teeth are made of a cobalt alloy, which further enhances hardness and heat resistance.
Features - Sharp toothed edges allow for smooth, fast and easy cuts. Bi-metal hole saws have more cutting edges than carbide hole saws. Side grooves or chip holes facilitate chip removal and prevent clogging, and allow lubricant to reach the cutting area, extending tool life and cutting efficiency.
Applications - The bi-metal hole saw can create round holes in wood, plastic, plasterboard, steel, aluminum, plywood, PVC, fiberboard, metal sheet. Suitable for various applications such as door locks, hinges, cabinets, pipes, electrical conduits, junction boxes.
Note - Used with bench drills, drill presses, electric hand drill, cordless drill, etc..The cutting material must be fixed well, and at a 90 degree angle to the hole opener. Do not use on impact drills. Apply an appropriate lubricant, use proper speed and pressure and always wear appropriate safety gear.
