Angelite (which is a blue Anhydrite) is a recent discovery for the mineral and gem world. Found during the 1987 Harmonic Conversion in Peru, it is said to have been given it's name from the Greek anhydrase meaning ‘without water'.
Chemical Composition: CaSO4 - Calcium Sulfate. Hardness: 3.5-Hardness.
Color: Blue, Colorless, Gray, White. Location: Peru.
