Female DVI to Male HDMI Adapter Cable
This 1 foot (0.3 m) HDMI to DVI cable is made for bidirectional signal transfer. This means it supports signal from HDMI to DVI as well as DVI to HDMI. The adapter can be primarily used to turn a HDMI port into a DVI-I Dual Link port.
The cable convertor has a Female DVI-I Dual Link port at one end. This port is compatible with Male DVI-D (Dual Link & Single Link) and Male DVI-I (Dual Link & Single Link) connectors.
The cable has a PVC outer layer which increases durability and gold-plated connectors for optimal signal transfer and resists corrosion.

Important: The HDMI connector is Male and the DVI-I (Dual Link) connector is Female.

High Resolution Video Transfer
The HDMI to DVI cable uses a DVI-I Dual Link port which supports resolutions up to 1080p Full HD (60Hz). It is important to note that all DVI connectors only transmit video signals, not audio signals.

Compatibility
This Bi-Directional Male HDMI to Female DVI-D cable convertor connects a Male DVI-equipped output device to your HDMI-equipped HDTV, display, monitor or projector.
It is also possible to connect a HDMI output source device to a monitor with DVI-D (Dual Link & Single Link) and Male DVI-I (Dual Link & Single Link) connectors. A separate DVI cable may be required.
