The clamp itself can be adapted to a mount, to the counterweight shaft or another dovetail bar, building a double connection.
For attaching the clamp, 7 bores are available for M6 and 1/4" screws. Four M6 bores at 38 mm distance square, one M6 bores lengthwise. One 1/4" tripod thread in the middle with two drilled (but not threaded) to accommodate screws up to 6mm in diameter, center-to-center screw hole spacing is from 27 to 43mm. All functions, especially the clamping, are completely kept. The clamping screw can be used without problems.

A generously dimensioned surface with 25 mm width presses the bar against the othe side of the clamp.
Simply screw the dovetail clamp onto your photo tripod or tripod head, and you can mount your telescope on the tripod.
