The plug body is gold plated, which is help prevent corrosion and ensure smooth connections.

These makes installing and connecting your equipment easier. Just make sure you don't loose the small screws when setting up wire, and ensure you tighten screw firmly so that you don't loose screw and your wire is making contact at all times.

Once you get them, there are small screws inside the plugs. You run the wires into the hole, then tighten down with the small screw.
