Travis 2.0 is made from durable, aerospace grade magnesium alloy and features refined leg locks providing better leverage and rigidity with its smooth, easy to use mechanism. Travel-friendly and ultra-compact, it folds down to just 17.9" and weighs 4.01 lbs. Despite its small size, Travis 2.0 is one of the strongest tripods in its class, capable of supporting up to 40 lbs - 10 times its own weight! Extending from 4.6" up to 65.3", it boasts three detachable legs that give you a great range of working heights. Combined with the reversible and removable centre column, Travis 2.0 is easily converted between tripod, monopod, and with the addition of optional Vanz tripod feet (sold separately), table-top tripod. Improving on our original Travis design, we've enhanced our twist leg lock system using a combination of rubber pads and knurling to improve the grip and leverage.
