Hiro h50336 Intel 82574L PCIe Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express PCI-E x1 Network Adapter offers a path from legacy PCI/PCIX designs to higher performance PCIe-based designs. These single-port controllers use a PCIe one lane (x1) interface operating at 2.5 GHz. The Intel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet controllers provide fully integrated Gigabit Ethernet (Mac) media access control and physical-layer (PHY) capabilities. It can be configured for 10/100 Mb/s or 1000 Mb/s modes of operation. Some optional PCIe extensions are also supported on the driver platform to enhance capabilities for specific usage modes. Each driver provides a standard IEEE 802.3 Ethernet MDI (copper) interface for 1000Base-T, 100Base-TX, 10Base-T, and 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3 ab (Applications). The Intel 82574L also allows for rapid migration of custom interconnects to Ethernet.
