2.Applicable Size:
Fits a 4-inch pipe diameter/vent opening.

3.How the Vent Cover Works?
When the dryer is working, hot air enters and passes through the elbow of hood, which pushs the floating shuttle cup upward and allows air to escape from the bottom of the hood.
When the dryer is not working, the floating shuttle cup will automatically fall down and be closed to form a completely sealed state. This design can prevent cold wind and other unwelcome things from entering the house through the ventilation holes.

4.Installation Instructions:
Step 1 ASSEMBLE:
Join the elbow's smooth side into the vent body.
Step 2 GET VENT OPENING READY:
The existing vent pipe should be cut if necessary to have it protruded 1/2” from the outside wall. Clean lint accumulated in the vent pipe.
Step 3 SET UP:
Place the flat part of the elbow against the wall, align the holes and insert the 1/2” of the old vent pipe into the elbow.
Mount the vent in a vertical position as in the picture below. Secure the 6 screws (included).
To make sure the fit airtight enough, caulk with a bead of silicone around the square flanges.
