The Clouser Minnow is an extremely effective baitfish pattern used in both fresh and saltwater. Originally designed for bass, the fly has gained popularity in all waters. Just about every species of fish eats baitfish so this is a great fly if you don't know what to tie on or what species you might encounter. I have seen everything from a 8” trout to a 100 lbs tarpon eat this fly.
