This product is medical grade isopropyl alcohol and is approved for use in the production of sanitizers, or direct use. This grade does not contain heavy metals or organic compounds found in industrial grade. This product does not contain methanol, acetaldehyde or other carcinogens found in industrial grade. However, prolonged use will result in severe drying of the skin, which is why this product is often paired with aloe vera or similar moisturizing agents.
