FACTORY INSTALLED PICKUPS: comes with three internal Piezo pickups that let you control volume and tone through a PA system or amplifier; turn up your sound in any venue and dial-in your tone
WHY IT MATTERS: cajons aren't naturally loud, so if you play with larger combos or in bigger venues, you'll need a volume boost to be heard; these pickups lift the ceiling of normal cajon applications so you can cut through the mix
HOW IT WORKS: the cajon is equipped with two sets of fixed micro-coiled steel cajon strings for snare effect; two pickups are placed near the strings and the other on the bass area to produce the most natural tone (you can play without using the pickups)
GO DEEPER: we craft the cajon body from Baltic birch wood, which also used in high-end drum sets for players serious about sound; then it's finished with a highly responsive makah burl frontplate
OF NOTE: the pickups don't require batteries to work; just plug into an amp or PA with a quarter-inch cable, adjust the dials, and start playing (cable not included)

Available from the Snarecraft and Woodcraft Professional lines, these cajons are equipped with three Piezo pickups, two for snare sounds and the other for bass sounds. Each cajon comes with a volume and tone knob so you can find your perfect mix. A quarter-inch cable port allows you to send your signal through any amp or PA system.
