Designed to fit directly into popular hose shop vacuums with a 2.25" diameter inlet or by utilizing the adaptor act as an extension hose connecting the provided hose to the working end of common home shop vacuum hose s described as 2.50".  These hoses can connect directly into traditional home shop vacuums and be used to provide a longer hose for cleaning cars, workstations, and other cleaning tasks where the hose provided with the vacuum is found to have insufficient length.
