Hole Saw for metal sheet, drywall, plastic pipe, wood, PVC, fiberboard and grommet Hole Drilling.
Cutting Depth: 1-3/16 inch / 30mm
Variable depth gullets provide more efficient chip clearance; Electron beam weld for stronger, longer lasting teeth.
- High performance material: Bi-metal and Hss
- Unique teeth configuration for fast removal of cutting materials.
- Fit all 3/8" and 1/2" power drills.
The Bi-Metal Hole Saw is crafted from the highest quality bi-metal. The teeth are attached to a carbon steel body by a process called electron beam welding.
Because the Hole Saws are engineered and manufactured for exceptional sharpness and durability, they will cut much more than wood.
These saws will also cut holes in aluminum, copper, iron, stainless steel and zinc. The hole saws also have a tooth "pitch" that varies from 4 to 6 teeth per inch.
This reduces harmonics and improves performance. Also, the variation in depth of gullets between the blade's teeth provides more efficient chip clearance, giving you greater cutting speed.
How to Cut Successfully:
1. Install the pilot hole and the hole saw.
2. Holding the drill straight to cutting surface and drill as clockwise rotation.
3. When starting drilling, cutting at a slow speed and holding steady pressure.
4. Then the hole saw cut hole in no time.
NOTES:
- Before using the hole saw tool, be sure to grasp the rationality, selection, control, tachometer and continuously add coolant when cutting metal to prevent edge cracking
- It is OK for drilling as clockwise rotation, but not anti-clockwise.
- The spring on the pilot drill bit helps remove disc, but if you need to cut a thicker board, pls remove the spring
