MULTI-PURPOSE: The NitroFile's ability to use both coated and non-woven abrasives allows it to perform a wide range of applications. An excellent multi-purpose tool for grinding sharp metal edges, rusted bolts, welds, surface preparation etc. Effective for blending, scuffing grooves and contours.
CONTACT ARM INCLUDED: Included with the NitroFile Abrasive Belt Tool is our Contact Arm Assembly (11287). This contact arm is for 5/8” (16 mm) or 3/4" (19 mm) wide by 20-1/2” (521 mm) long coated abrasive and non-woven nylon belts. The arm's rubber wheel has a 3/4" (19 mm) platen.
OPTIMIZED DESIGN: Features a lightweight, ergonomic 7-degree offset handle design. The grinding head pivots 360 degrees, allowing you to secure the most efficient position for the job. The belt guard easily detaches for quick abrasive change with a simple belt tracking adjustment knob.
PNEUMATIC MOTOR: The air-powered motor runs at 0.5 hp and up to 20,000 RPM. Its gearless pneumatic design means this tool is lightweight, versatile, easier to maintain, and capable of delivering more power. Front exhaust directs dust away from the operator and extends the belt life.
