The BG-N21 Battery Grip from Vello is designed for use with the Nikon Z 5, Z 6, Z 6 II, Z 7, and Z 7 II mirrorless cameras. It accepts two Nikon EN-EL15a or EN-EL15b rechargeable batteries (not included) to effectively double the camera's battery life and shooting time. The BG-N21 is equipped with an alternate shutter release that connects to the camera via an included 2.5mm shutter release cable, making the battery grip ideal for camera operation in portrait orientation. A convenient lock switch disables the controls to prevent accidentally triggering or changing settings.
The BG-N21 incorporates a USB-C charging port to allow recharging the batteries with the supplied USB-C power supply, without the need to remove them from the grip. Indicator LEDs show individual battery status at a glance.
