Yin Yang Blend of Corriedale Wool Roving Top

Corriedale is an ideal core wool and this blend is a beautiful mix of natural white and brown corriedale, minimally blended to product a beautiful colored stripe effect earning it the name of Yin Yang due to the opposing colors bringing out the best in each other. This is premium grade spinning wool roving, fine and softer than most other corriedale wools. Cruelty-free sourced, this reliable multipurpose organic wool roving is a pleasure to spin, knit, crochet, weave or felt.

Durable supercomfy wool with significant loft and distinctive crimp, corredale is the optimal wool choice for sweaters, socks, blankets and other household textiles. The Corriedale sheep is a mix of Merino and Lincoln breeds and the wool produces an excellent fiber quality for core wool felting.

Much like cheviot wool, corriedale yarn for felting is a medium fiber and has a very well-defined crimp, and it makes a wonderfully bouncy DK or heavier weight yarn. While felters love it for its ability to easily needle felt & wet felt, knitters, weaver and crocheters will love it for its grippy-ness; colorwork and weaving done with Corriedale won't slip around or become loose.
