Special Features

  • Age range use: kids, teens and adults
  • This patent reel die replaces the standard Scattegories game die. While standard 20 letters die features initial letters only, this 54 letters/values die features plenty more interesting possibilities.
  • Here is how to use the die:
  • If the given category is “Fruits” and the value rolled on the die is “Ends in N”, two possible answers are Lemon or Melon.
  • If the given category is “Cities” and the value rolled on the die is “Has G”, two possible answers are San Diego or Chicago.
  • If the given category is “Countries” and the value rolled on the die is “Same letter twice”, two possible answers are “Thailand” (has “A” twice) or “United States” (has several letters twice).
  • When a plain letter is rolled, use the letter as initial letter. Example: If the letter rolled is “S” and the given category is “Foods”, two possible answers are Sandwich or Spinach.
  • More games within the same dice patent/concept available at this link: https://www.amazon.com/tomatofiesta (copy it and paste at your browser's address bar. Then click Enter)
  • Invented, designed and produced by The Amazing Dice Project.
  • For those of you that wish to know how the patent die mechanism works, here is the trick. Each side of the die has a triangle reel loosely hanged on a metal bar/pin. With every roll of the die the reel spins and once the die stops from rolling the reels get latched and displays one of the 3 values of the reel, randomly. This concept allows the die displaying 54 different values rather than only 18 values as the number of sided of the die.

Description

This patent reel die replaces the standard Scattegories game die.
While standard 20 letters die features initial letters only, this 54 letters/values die features much more fun possibilities.

Note:
The package contains 1 patent die of 54 values and a fabric drawstring die bag. It does not include category cards.
