The Su-57 is a fifth-generation Russian multifunctional fighter, created during the PAK FA program to replace the Su-27 heavy fighter. The Su-57 is capable of air combat at long and short ranges, as well as strikes at ground and sea targets. To destroy the enemy, the aircraft is armed with a 30-mm aircraft cannon and is capable of carrying modern types of air-to-air and air-to-surface guided missiles. The onboard equipment of the new fighter allows real-time data exchange both with ground control systems and within the aviation group, as well as performing tasks autonomously. During the development of the Su-57, measures were taken to reduce radar visibility - stealth technology. In February 2018, the Su-57s were tested in Syria, taking part in real combat operations. To date, the Su-57 is mass-produced and is considered one of the best fighters in its class.
