PLANET Hanayama puzzle and TUBE Hanayama Puzzle are newly released in 2022 and 2023 respectively.. The objective of PLANET puzzle is to separate the inner sphere from its ring. The sphere has approximately 18 slightly different sized nubs on its surface. The inside of the ring is very irregular. The key is figuring how to twist the ring and the sphere in the correct direction/s allowing the two pieces to separate. TUBE Hanayama is a cylindrical-shaped take-apart puzzle. The objective: unlock /disengage the 2 inner pieces from the tube. Each brainteaser requires much thinking, planning and many attempts. Equally challenging is to put the puzzle back together. Occasionally someone will accidentally separate the pieces and think they are a genius !!!! NOT SO ! Mastering the puzzle means you can disassemble and assemble the three pieces easily. Meaning you know exactly which moves to execute to untangle the pieces and then to re-assemble. Simply a series of clever moves. Recommended for ages 13 to 105 years.
