Description

Now on display at the Bovington Museum in the United Kingdom, this Tiger was caught in Tunisia after having a lucky shot that damaged its turret by a Churchill MK IV. Being the heaviest tanks during WWII, no other tank was able to damage its thick armor and could damage everything in its path, but the Tiger I was no match at outrunning the Churchill tanks built to manuever any tough terrain it encountered, the British were able 'to catch a tiger.' This major triumph of capturing this abadoned Tiger and was sent back to England to display their triumph in North Africa and to study their German enemies prized defense.
