The object of both puzzles is to separate the pieces. Equally as challenging is re-assembly. Truly solving all Hanayama puzzles means that you actually know which moves take-apart the puzzle and then which moves allow it to be re-assembled. Puzzles are small, pocket size, measuring approximately 1 to 2.5 inches long and weigh approximately 3 to 4 ounces each. Dice is rated as a Level 3 and Valve as a Level 4 (on a scale of 1 to 6 where 6 is the most challenging). Your experience may differ.
