You can mix it directly with acrylic paint or apply alone and wait till dry and add acrylics or oil paint over the top. Directions:
Using a palette knife, mix directly with acrylics to create your desired texture. Try a 1:3 ratio of medium to paint or 1:1 ratio medium to paint
