The Glue kit creates a simple and easy way to attach a vase to concrete or granite. The product includes: J-B Weld, Protective Gloves, Emery Cloth/Sand paper and detailed instructions with pictures. The key to a successful bond to concrete or granite is surface preparation. Here are recommended steps to have a good adhesive bond: 1. Rough both bonding surfaces including the Bottom surface of the vase and the surface of the concrete/granite. This can be done with the sand paper provided. 2. Clean both surfaces throughly. Any loose debris, particles, or dust will cause poor adhesion. 3. Make sure both surfaces are completely dry. 4. Mix the J-B weld adhesive. The J-B Weld container doubles as a mixing tray. 5. Smear a moderate amount of glue on the concrete/granite surface and on the vase surface. Make sure glue is over entire glueing surface. 6. Place vase into place, apply some weight, and twist back and forth slightly. 7. Keep a weight on top of the vase until the adhesive has dried. Glue sets in 4-6 hours.
