Embroidery badges are mainly used for beautifying and decorating the surface of clothing, shoes, hats, bags and other textiles, or for covering up defects. They can be ironed, sewn or velcroed onto the surface of clothing, the most common method is to iron the embroidered patch onto the surface of clothing and other textiles.
How do I use it?
1. Before using, make sure that the garment or bag you want to repair can be ironed! If not, use a sewing machine to iron! If not, use a seamstress;
2. set the iron to the appropriate temperature for the garment you are repairing (usually 300°F, 150°C) and preheat the iron according to the instructions for use;
3. to prevent the embroidery thread from being damaged by the heat, cover the embroidered letter patch with a thin piece of cotton (it must be colourfast cotton);
4. place the iron on the letter patch covered with the thin cotton cloth and iron back and forth for 30-50 seconds, pressing back and forth several times;
5. turn over and iron the letter patch and the attached piece for 20-30 seconds so that the adhesive side of the patch is fully heated and adheres perfectly to the attached piece.
