The rich, diverse culture of Native America peoples, as expressed through their distinctive and often elaborate clothing (whether "everyday" or ceremonial) owed everything to the environment in which each tribe lived: lands which they valued so highly becuase they provided everything needed to live long and healthy lives. These 54 playing cards, each wondefully illustrates by artist John Denaro, captures the essence of the wide variety of clothing worn by the indigenous peoples of North America as seen over the past two centuries. Each tribe's name and an indication of geographic location are given.
