The gas detection and alarm circuit consists of gas sensor MQ-5, voltage comparator LM393, and voice chip C002 and other components. It can detect combustible gases in the air and automatically sound an alarm.
The gas sensing material used in the MQ-5 gas sensor is tin dioxide (Sn02), which has a low conductivity in clean air. When there is combustible gas in the environment where the sensor is located, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of combustible gas concentration in the air.
Suitable for detecting gas, natural gas, and liquefied gas in households or industries, and with excellent resistance to ethanol and smoke interference, it is an economical sensor suitable for various applications.
C002 is a three tone optional alarm voice chip that stores the sounds of police cars, fire alarms, and ambulances internally. It is externally connected to an oscillation resistor of 100K~240KQ (the higher the resistance, the slower the sound speed), and can drive the buzzer to sound when powered on.
The gas detection alarm circuit uses the alarm sound of fire alarm 119. 1 pin is grounded, 2 pins are output, 3 pins are sound terminal selection, 4 pins are connected to the positive pole of the power supply, and 5 and 6 pins are connected to the oscillation resistor.
