Our Firefly Bliss is a hand-blown, round liquid oil candle is for indoor or outdoor use. It is a simplistically elegant and well made. We use several on our dining table at night. They maintain their beauty night after night and never change unlike messy wax candles. You can use them alone or in a lantern or candle holder. This Bliss glass candle is clear.
Refilling is a snap with the included funnel. When pouring the fuel, always elevate the funnel above the neck so that it will not overflow.
The candle should be placed in a safe location. The wick holder sits securly in the neck of the candle. It does not screw in. This is unnecessary, as the manufacturer. The 2-inch bottom is flat and stable. Tipping the candle over, and we've done this, results in the flame extinguishing and some loss of fuel which is not dangerous! just a bit messy and easy to clean up.

Set the wick ever so slightly above the wick holder, just a numb. If you experience smoke, you've set the wick too high.We suggest using unscented Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil, Firefly Paraffin Lamp Oil or Safe & Green for the best performance. NEVER use any type of vegetable oil. Always use in a ventilated area and make sure the flame is not close to any solid material.
You can easily create colored lamp oil by using our lamp oil dye.
