A sling rope is used to bundle a mantied load onto a pack saddle when packing horses and mules into the backcountry. At Outfitters Supply our sling rope is constructed using 25 feet of 1/2” diameter Better Than Manilla (BTM) rope, with a traditional loop braided in one end and a back braid on the other. Better Than Manilla (BTM) rope is water resistant and will not absorb water and freeze in inclement weather. Additionally, this rope has a less coarse surface than a natural fiber rope which equates to more strength and comfort for the user. Outfitters Supply designs and manufactures professional quality trail riding and horse packing equipment with an uncompromising commitment to design, craftsmanship and performance. Our products are designed by experience in order to withstand the most rugged environments. We're lucky enough to be located in the Rocky Mountains of northwest Montana, nestled next to Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. Our staff field tests each of our products before we offer them to our customers.
