Cuttlebones are a basic staple for pet birds of all sizes. They promote good beak health and keep beaks and nails trimmed. Cuttlebones are a natural product and, as a result, may vary in shape and size. When hanging the cuttlebone, attach it to the inside vertical sides of your bird's cage. Do not place it on the bottom grill or let it lay on the floor of your bird's cage. Remove immediately if any part becomes loose or detached. Cuttlebone may have sharp edges when broken. It is recommended that bird habitat accessories be inspected daily. Replace as necessary.
